EPM Architecture was retained by the Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Company– by the Owner after releasing their Architect of record on the project. Our task was to bring the project back on schedule (a full one-year behind schedule when EPM was retained) and back in budget. EPM worked with the Owner and Contractor to realize significant project savings and assure that the priority of construction quality was maintained throughout the project. Several construction items were performed by fire company members, or local businesses willing to donate services– allowing upgrades to interior finishes while maintaining the project budget.
The project was completed within three months of EPM Architecture being retained and the Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Company celebrated their grand opening on November 8th, 2009.
