The existing Municipality of Bethel Park retained EPM Architecture to replace the existing entrance to their current Municipal Building, which was deteriorating and did not allow ADA access. This main entrance to the facility serves both municipal government functions and the Bethel Park Library.

The new entrance serves both a lower plaza, which includes a Veteran’s Memorial and lower main parking areas. ADA access is gained by a curved walkway ramp leading directly to dedicated HC parking spaces. New Memorial Plaza lighting and landscaping was included within the design to enhance the municipalities special event plaza.

A new front vestibule and entrance canopy were designed to complement the existing building. Materials similar to the existing building were implemented to assure the new entrance blend with the existing and remain maintenance free for many years to come.
