Seven Springs Mountain Resort Skier Services Building

Seven Springs new Skier Services Building functions as the main drop-off and gateway to the slopes for skiers and visitors to this Western Pennsylvania full-season mountain resort. The building serves as a bridge connecting the large conference facilities and the existing Ski-Lodge, and was built on the site of the former snow-making water retention pond.

The facility includes ski-ticketing operations, skier locker rooms, Ski School and Daycare operations. The upper level accommodates a ski equipment and apparel shop during the ski season and a large open banquet facility in the non-winter months.

Built as the focal point of the resort and the gateway to Seven Springs, the building was designed with materials homogeneous to the resort’s conference, hotel and skiing facilities. Local stone was used to clad the pre-cast concrete frame and structure. Wood beams and decking provide a warm alpine interior within the banquet area. Heated exterior concrete pavers decks and walkways provide safe and usable exterior plazas during the winter months.
