Upper St. Clair D.P.W. Storage

Designed to accommodate existing and future Department of Publics equipment, as well as general Township long-term storage for the various municipal departments, the facility serves as a remote storage site.

Located in a large park area, adjacent to the new Community Recreation Center– currently under construction, the facility is designed to complement the adjacent structures, while still providing exceptional value for the Township.

Consistent with the Township’s desire to be a leader in environmentally sensitive Green design, the facility incorporates may energy saving features including a super-insulated building shell and use of a photovoltaic array assemble on the roof of the facility. This alternative energy source provides the vast majority of energy required to operate the facility on a year-round basis.
